INFORMATION
Eurobodalla Showerscreens & Wardrobes offers its customers the following design information as a guide.
SHOWERSCREENS
What to consider when designing your showerscreen:
- The standard size of a shower recess is 900mm x 900mm with a minimum 500mm opening for the door.
- A showerscreen design should allow access to the taps from outside without getting wet.
- Ensure the shower rose is situated below the top of the showerscreen so as to limit water spray.
- To further reduce the opportunity of water spraying outside the showerscreen, position the door of the showerscreen so that it is not directly in front of the shower rose.
- Consider the position of the toilet and vanity unit when designing your showerscreen, as they may restrict the opening of the showerscreen door.
- Outward opening pivot showerscreen doors will assist safety in an emergency.
- With the renovation or construction of a bathroom, water proofing and framing are important elements to be considered.
- Accurate measurements are required when installing a showerscreen, therefore measurements for the showerscreen are taken after the shower tiles are in place. From the time of taking measurements 5 to 10 days are required before installation. We offer an express service should there be an urgency for installation. The express service is dependent upon availability of materials.

WARDROBES
What to consider when designing your wardrobe:
- The standard wardrobe uses a double track, supporting two, three or four doors.
- The standard depth of a wardrobe is 600mm, which allows an internal opening of 530mm.
- The wardrobe ends can be walls of the room, or a wardrobe end (known as an End Jamb) can be installed if the wardrobe is positioned off one wall only.
- For extra wide access to your wardrobe (or storage cupboard) enquire about a triple track sliding door system. In the open position the three doors sit in behind one another leaving access to the remaining two thirds of the wardrobe, allowing wide open easy access. The triple door sliding track is 50mm wider than the standard track, in total being 120 mm wide.
- The standard height of a wardrobe is up to 2400mm.
- A small room can be enhanced by mirror doors, giving a feeling of space and light.
- A popular design is one door mirror and the other/s Laminex or Wood Veneer.
- From the time of taking measurements 5 to 10 days are required before installation. We offer an express service should there be an urgency for installation. The express service is dependent upon availability of materials.
